A fantastic addition to the San Juan food scene. Inventive, well executed dishes with friendly yet refined service. The menu is focused and offers approachable dishes that are different than anything else on island. Thoughtful pricing allows for Vianda to be a regular neighborhood spot vs just a special occasion experience.
The dining room is comfortable and the bar and wine service were extremely professional. The wine list carries some very good options, again that vary from the rest of the mainstream expensive options in PR.
Carrot and beet salad was delicious, ricotta toast with squash needed salt but was nicely prepared. Beautiful pasta and for the mains, spicy broth with perfectly cooked cod and a vegetarian option of eggplant au poive. Dessert was two small cakes with coconut cream that reminded me of a super high end Twinkie.
