I found 1919 by searching restaurants close to me in Google while staying in Condado. I was greeted by Ivan at the door who immediately made me feel comfortable. They offer a pre-fix menu which I chose to try. Every course I selected was very interesting and tasteful. Each one my server, William, explained everything that was in it and how it was made when he brought it out. I couldn't have found a better place to enjoy flavors that zing in my mouth. The portion size was perfect. The ambience was nice. Ivan frequently checked in to see how I was enjoying everything. At the end of my meal Ivan gave me a couple small desserts to take back to my hotel which I gladly accepted to eat later since I had to work after dinner. He also asked if I had any decent teas inside my hotel room. I told him I did not, only Lipton. He gave me Chamomile tea to take back to my room. On my way out the door, Mara pleasantly surprised me with a loaf of banana bread to enjoy the next day. She also explained all of the ingredients and how it was made. I could not have had a better dining experience! 1919 please thank your staff for making my evening pleasant and memorable. I will be back!
We have a blast for our anniversary! Everything was in harmony and beautiful. The service was great with a lot of details, perfect!! The star of the night was the 5 courses (meat) of the Chef, Jose Juan Correa creations, WOW! Thank you for amazing evening. All the best, cheers�
My husband and I had dinner there last night. It was by far the best food we had in Puerto Rico. We will definitely go back. The food and service was amazing. We highly recommend going. Something to not miss if you are in Puerto Rico. Their wine list is amazing as well.
