C'est Magnifique! We came across this hidden gem one evening when we were looking for a nightcap. Chef David recommend an orange rum from Martinique, that was wonderful. Watching the food come out of the kitchen, I knew we would have to come back for dinner before leaving. The entire dinner was the best meal I have ever had, from the beef carpacio to the lamb to the creme bruleé. We started planning a trip back to San Juan just to eat at Niche again.
Love this place! The food, the atmosphere, the service are all great. It's one of my favorites. I've never had a bad thing on the menu, but the carpaccio, tuna tartar, spinach salad, foie gras, scallops & fillet are all amazing.
And when you're done with the great food, order a cocktail (I like the coconut dream & dulce de leche martini, they have a great wine list too) and you can head up to the largest hot tub in Puerto Rico that's not too hot, just the perfect temperature & you can listen to the waves crashing on the beach.

This place is superb. Gastro french food using local influence on the ingredients and base products. There is a 5 course chef menu or you can order a la carte.
David is the chef from France and he actually serves you and presents his creations. Only 8 tables so reservations are a must. This is a true Gem.

An amazing experience in an elegant and contemporary setting guided by sitting Buddhas adding to a serene ambiance. Chef David and his team have designed an exquisite International menu of appetizers and entrees that bring together a combination of flavors from the French cuisine and the Caribbean with a local twist. Needless to say the special cocktails and amazing desserts menus left us wanting more!! Our favorites: dulce de leche martini, tuna tartar, duck fois gra served on a caramelized onion and sweet apple bed, halibut with a delicious coconut crust, duck pionono, filet mignon, and risotto just to name a few tasted. As if that was not enough, the chocolate tart and the mayorca pudding definitely put the gold broche to this wonderful and inspiring experience. Can't wait to come back! !!
The Chef and I made a one dollar bet on the Indiana Colts and there home town P. Rico . We never watched the game in its entirety. Had a blast drinking and chatting. We'll be back to collect
I am not prone to writing reviews but last night's dinner experience has pushed me over the edge. From the moment that Chef David greeted us at the door until we departed we were treated like old friends. The tasting menu was an outstanding showcase of the offered dishes and the truffles were devine. Thus little gem should be a must visit if you are in the Condado area. I assume reservations are required but don't chance it and call ahead.

Definitivamente el mejor lugar en SJ para una comida rica, elegante y original. La fusión entre los ingredientes de la cocina francesa y puertorriqueña es algo que hacen con mucha magia. Además de lo único y especial que es que el Chef te explique cada plato cuando llega a tu mesa.
100% recommended. You cannot leave this island without stepping into this cozy, wonderful cave. The food is not only delicious but elegant and the French/Caribbean fusion is a magical treat to your taste buds.

Chef David Chaymol took us into a new world of flavors and exquisite combinations. A unique fusion of french cuisine and caribbean recipes. Certainly one of my favorite restaurants in Puerto Rico.

Phenomenal, excellent service direct from the French chef himself, the menu was unique and presented exceptionally well. A different taste that was welcoming to the pallet. Much more than we we're anticipating!
